I just would like to say, there are no options for Strikers among the many reward options.
This quest requires a group to complete, but not everyone in the group was rewarded.
No one is excited about the scale armor (of the players I know), but at least defenders got a variety of shields to...
I think it would be cool to have skill abilities, that are not activateble. They simply give you passive buffs, while you have them equipped. It would further compound the choices to be made, when slotting your ability bar. They could be stances, focuses, or styles.
Examples for Strikers-...
For the Warden:
1. As they level up, allow them to target monsters at greater distances, for scouting identification. "Legolas what do your elf eyes see?" This is in line with them being the "utility striker"
2. Make Lay of the Land increase with level. They should get better at...
Imo, This reward option is weakly balanced compared to the other options. Please consider buffing it (If you do though let me trade in my axe please) jk
Went through CV2 tonight with a totally OP group.
Went through the exile entrance. Some criticism from the group experience:
The egress point on the exile side was a welcome sight. Really need another one at the exile/spider cross over point.
We were often turned around and lost, and...
Rare spawns/items added to tower island bats in meadowlands. These bats have no prefixes. Would be nice to have uniques like the bloodied and diseased. Also for the bats in redshore.
4-Chev rare turtle added to NE ridge backs in meadowlands, "Tiny Mountain"
More daggers, especially in 30+...
disclaimer.. this is all my opinion and a lot of guess work.. this is also given from a party based DPS perspective, and assuming you are 14+, and wanting to min/max. You can still do great DPS not using this advice!
disclaimer 2.. the info in this thread is a bit dated. Offhand-weapon attack...
First off, I'd like to say the new mob types are impressive! The new dungeons are HUGE, and exciting to tackle! There are named monsters and they drop loot! This is all great!
Here are my top concerns and suggestions concerning the current dungeon dynamic, in no particular order.
1) nav...
well it's that time again, the time where I ask for a talent system, and this time I'm gonna pitch another idea for one...
this one centered around general roles, and not specialist roles..
1 talent point every 5 levels, totaling 10 at level 50.
Five talent categories per role. Each talent...
It would be nice to have a multi group in the same dungeons/high value area experience.
We aren't getting a feel for how this game will play with a higher competitive population present.
My static group is pushing the low 20 content now, but we often cant even fill our group. We would love to...
Cloaks
Zip lines in DryFoot
Specialty specific weapons/armor
Specialty quests
Shoulder slot gear
More ring drops
More NPCs in towns, and roaming the roads.
Talent point system with a finite number of meaningful choices. Not an AA system, but maybe that too. Would of course need to feel out max...
I feel it would be nice to have harvesting level ups come faster.
I'm a 22 Beserker, Hunter/Prospector
It requires a HUGE amount of skinning/mining to keep your skills up with your character level. I am lucky to often be the only skinner in my group, but I still have to do a bunch of solo...
So this has bothered me for some time. I don't like how stamina regen is null while harvesting.
I understand that harvesting is laborious, but I would argue that it is no more laborious than combat, yet we have in combat stamina regeneration.
I would suggest making it on par with in combat...
Base class would have one support ability, one striker ability, and on tank ability.
The Specialist roles
Quingong - support
Warrior Monk - tank
Master - striker
The class could come with a tri- spec feature like wow's dual spec, that let's them switch specialties. Call it stances or styles...
I'd like build options and decisions beyond role specialization. I dont want all that separates 2 berserkers, to be gear selection.
I've made suggestions in the past for talent systems, but there are so many ways to accomplish this. Even if it's just a simple choice, like one ability...
