What are these issues, and why do I feel like you're about to respond with a list of intentional design decisions that are precisely what makes the game so good?
 
Hey hey hey let's not devolve into madness :). We know Embers Adrift has a lot of room for improvement and we're working on it. If you have specific ideas feel free to make a thread or start a discussion on discord.
 
GoG is another option which is called "Good Old Games" which is the 2nd largest gaming platform and services old forgotten games.
