Help with installer

when I try to install the game it only loads 6 mb and the windows short cut does not work

Make sure to move the launcher out of your downloads folder and launch as admin.

I also have windows 11 how big is the embers adrift set up file supposed to be the one I downloaded is 4 mb when install it gets hung up about 50 % or if goes through it is missing files

Heya @Monark did you get this resolved? There are some odd permissions issues we are running into on windows that cause these sorts of problems. The two most common fixes for people are:

• Run the launcher as admin (right cilck --> run as administrator)
• Add the launcher directory to your AV's whitelist

Im looking into the launcher issues we have been seeing but unfortunately there is no quick fix yet.

To get you into Open beta you can download the game client as a zip archive from here: https://patch.embersadrift.com/patcher/current/win/EmbersAdriftLauncher-Win.zip

Just unzip it to your desired lcoation and run the patcher within it.
