Echo in audio

I'm just starting my journey in Embers and I'm enjoying myself a lot, thank you!

One thing which I'm noticing which is reducing my enjoyment a little is that the combat audio components all seem to have echo, as though I were fighting these critters in a small hard walled room. I can't see anything in the audio settings to explain it. Is this something that everyone experiences or is it some configuration issue at my end?

I think it's just in the starter valley area. Perhaps those high cliff walls are closer than they look.

It is quite distinct when logging.

Yeah, I am getting the same thing and someone told me that its due to the mountain / hill sides being close.
