Winning Loot Causes you to stand

No. If you loot something then sit down, after the loot box closes you return to the position you were in when you looted it.

If you are the person that loots an item in a group (clicks on the dead mob to trigger loot Need, Greed, Decline) once the rolls have been completed and winner gets loot, the person that trigger the loot will stand up if sitting at that point. Is this to show that that person is handing out the loot?

no that sounds like a bug. are you saying that when the roll completes they stand up? that doesn't sound right...

It's when the Looter closes the bag. Although when loot rolls are done, the loot window auto closes which would cause you to stand back up if you looted it while sitting down.

So I guess I'm still a bit confused as to how this is a bug? I guess I don't fully understand how one might reproduce this issue. If you are actively "looting" you are in a kneeling stance. If you exit "looting" it should return you to standing, combat, or torch stance. Loot rolls finishing should not change anyone's stance as they are separate from the actual looting. The only time this would come into play is if you had the loot window open (and were actively "looting") when the loot roll finishes, all loot is gone, then it auto closes the loot window - but in this instance it should return you to your previous stance just as if you had closed the loot window yourself.

Easily reproduceable. be in a group, loot a mob, sit down, close loot window...you'll be forced to stand up. Let loot run it's course, you'll stand up.

you can change stances with the loot window open?

Came here to report what was already reported. It is confirmed if you are the looter, it will stand you back up if you sat down while its still being rolled.
