We are all gamers at heart first, and if it become or trade, it's for the love of it! So let's speak about our favourites games and what we currently plays and enjoy!
100% enjoyment and appreciation thread. We leave the boring, annoying stuff at the door, for the rainy days

What am I playing? I am playing a ton!

My wife and I fell down the board game rabbit hole during the pandemic and have amassed quite the collection. We both enjoy these games for different reasons; I have really been taken by how different mechanics change the feel of each game and what kind of impact they have on interactions with others at the table. There's just something special about a board game that has extremely simple rules yet provides a huge decision space to explore. Current favorites are Sleeping Gods, Eclipse Second Dawn for the Galaxy, Babylonia, and The Quest for El Dorado.

But if you are asking about video games - then my current goto is a flight simulator by the name of Digital Combat Simulator (DCS). Growing up I always wanted to be a fighter pilot, but having any form of color blindness makes the chances of that happening quite low. I fell out of love with aviation for a while until I was able to experience a study-level flight sim in VR and it blew my mind. I now fly fighter jets in virtual reality every Tuesday night with friends.

I don't play games anymore lol, every time I do play a game it is literally just to get some inspiration or for research. If I do get the chance to play a game they are usually games like Chivalry, warzone etc, quick multiplayer action to have a giggle at. Games that are not taken too seriously and that don't take up much of my time.

Currently playing Disco Elysium on PS5. Really an amazing RPG, nothing else quite like it. I play a mix of TTRPGs (5e, Masks, homebrew) and board games (Dune Imperium, Marvel Champions). A little P99 every once in awhile.

What I am currently playing?

World of Warcraft:The Burning Crusade(Classic)
Distant Worlds Universe(was difficult to get to work on Linux)
7 Days to Die
Stellaris
Heroes of the Storm (every now and then)
Rimworld
Morrowind (The Elder Scrolls)
Pokemon Shield
The Legend of Zelda:Breath of the Wild
A whole bunch of old RPGs like Chrono Trigger FF etc
GalCiv II and III
Banished

These are all from the top of my head, I tend to cycle through them

Mostly just waiting for Battlefield 2042 as Battlefield games are my absolute favorite games to play. Right now though just TBC classic along with Albion Online and maybe once a week jump into Project Gorgon. I’d be playing BF4/V but currently don’t own a gaming laptop to play them.

I only play MMORPGs. It's the only style of game that keep my interest. I used to play a lot of titles - not even so long ago - but since the passing of my father, I disconnected in some ways from everything and while I still enjoy WOW or GW2, the only game that feel home at the moment is ESO.

I'm playing a character on each server (Na & Eu) to organise events and play with my community on both servers. I focuses on getting content completed (stories, map completion etc) & collecting things and just overall chilling and enjoying what the game has to offer.
Recently I played some PVP (battleground) and I surprinsingly had tons of fun (LOL) I also used to be a dungeon delver, but in ESO PVE and end game does not really interest me so much.

The beauty of horizontal progression, and lvl scaling is that content is never obselete and I never feel I need to catch up or that I'm missing out anything.

Nothing serious at the moment. Currently bouncing between BDO and Shroud of the Avatar. I play MMORPG's exclusively and am quite disappointed with the new MMO's coming out, everything is isometric with cartoony/stylized graphics or mostly focused on PVP gameplay.
I've spent the most time in WOW, but my favorite MMO was live SWG, Vanguard: SoH and Rift. I've also spent many hours playing FFXIV, EQ2, SWTOR, DDO, Neverwinter, Secret World and ESO. Looking forward to Ember's Adrift, Ashes of Creation, Defend the Night, Past Fate, Crimson Desert, Elyon and Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.

What I find personaly very beautiful with many of those upcoming MMORPGs: they all propose a very different solutions to the very same problem: bringing back the community together!

Been bouncing around a lot these days...

Still working on the Solasta Crown of the Magister main campaign.
EQ Thornblade/Vox some nights with some community members
DCS Flight Sim once a week
Darkfall dailies with morning coffee
Sword of Legends Online for my solo MMO evenings

Pick up various VR titles occasionally which I play off and on, most recently Stride and Duck Season and Until you Fall

When i have time i have just been playing Elite Dangerous Space Sim in VR. Eventually like Undone i will get setup with DCS and probably try out MS Flight Sim as well.

I have been busy Alpha testing New World, with the Beta coming up 7/20, I have had a week off of testing, and have been playing Grim Dawn, which has been pretty fun up to L20 anyways....Cheers

I'm currently playing Ashes of Creation Alpha, I'm super excited by this game. I find the concept absolutely thrilling and I think the Alpha is in a very very promising state. I do believe Ashes of Creation could be the next game to shine. But they still have lots of work, including critical elements. So we will have to see.

I've also purchased Crowfall. Which wasn't in my plans originally, especially as it's absolutely a PVO game and I'm not really a PVPer. But I really enjoy the combat, and I really enjoy the different races and classes combination. I've not reached the PVP part of the game though!

And my current main MMORPG is The Elder Scrolls Online. I absolutely love that game. It allow me to relax, chill, and I always have the feeling to progressmy character even though i do not do any of the competitive content.

Currently working lots and having my son out of school during summer, but! when I do have time for games I'm usually playing Dungeons & Dragons Online on my PC or playing Beatsaber or BoxingVR on my PS4VR but lately I've been reliving the joy that is FF7 Remastered or kicking it in my hammock reading Graphic Novels.

FFXIV, Rocket League. Divinity: Original Sin, work.

Have been absent for a few months, will enjoy catching up on the news and the new stuff.

@Undone That is quite the collection of games. We need you in our gaming circle lol.

Usually play MMORPGs or ARPGs. Random other stuff.
Currently playing Crowfall pretty extensively.
Vermintide 2 when I feel like it.
Sword of Legends Online with the wife.

Looking forward to Corepunk. Not sure how I feel about New World yet. Lost Ark in December WOOT.
Oh and I wanna try out Ashes of Creation when I get a chance.

Restoration 3 SWG EMU
LOTRO
World of Warships
Was in the original Alpha for New Worlds, did not enjoy hopefully the new version will be better?
Not really a big PVPer anymore so there has not been a lot to choose from.

I've returned recently to FFXIV, and I must say I've tons of fun! From all the game I play, FFXIV is by far the most social.

The things that I find very precious in this game:
- Gpose & icam
- Bond you create with your character
- Tools that allows you to socialise very easily
- emotes and cosmetics that you can collect in game
- housing with neighbourghhood
- all jobs on same character
- All content always relevant to you
- heartbreaking stories
- The kindness, politness, philosophy & spirituality imbued in the game

The things that irritate me extremly:
- The labyrinthic nightmarish menus and systems and overall structure of certain aspects of the game.
- Tab targetting is very cluncky and lead to pull mistakes easily

I used to complain about the combat, but that was before I played dancer. Now that I'm dancer, I can finally be a DPSer!

Well said these are big for me also, one or two characters at most I prefer.

My little shinobi in FFXIV :3

I've been playing a lot, some would say too much FFXIV of late. Been trying to wrap my tiny brain around Mahjong.

There are just so many cool things like you mentioned. Though I'm not a fan of all jobs on one character. The rest, awesome!

Also been playing Humankind a lot. So no other updates to my list. But I've added a pic this time :)
