Warlord stamina ability

I've noticed since the change in the Stamina ability Warlords get from when it used to be stamina regen vs it now just adding direct stamina.
I honestly doesn't really do anything now. You get a total of 8, yes 8 stamina over 30 secs. That's enough to almost get enough stamina for one extra ability if you play it twice for a total of 1 min.
Is it possible we can look into this to see what can be done to make this ability useful again?
It seems we keep getting nerfed from less stats on our grp buff abilities, loss of our movement speed and our fear now working 50% of the time.
It's a great class but as it sits right now it really isnt worth playing as useless as the class has been made.
Just my 2 cents...

You aren't the first warlord who has indicated this. I don't recall them nerfing this skill in any patch notes. I wonder if the tool tip is just wrong, or maybe it's 8 stamina/tick. I know I see an increase in stamina regen when a warlord is in the group.

This was changed here. Up until this point we have heard zero feedback on the issue. Will need to wait for @AdricLives to return from vacation for further comments on this change.
Energizing battle chant changed to provide direct STA over time instead of buffing the regen rate.

I should also mention that we are being extremely cautious with any sort of stamina regen abilities/consumables/etc. Once we put anything in the game that alters this resource considerably then that thing/role becomes indispensable and required for every encounter - which is what we do not want. I believe the direct infusion of stamina actually yielded more than the previous stamina regen buff (but again I'm just going off of memory, will need to wait for Adric).

I want to say from what I remembered the actual addition to regen yielded more sta, but I could be wrong.

The delayed feedback here brings up an interesting thing I have noticed in the past few weeks/months: mainly that feedback for individual changes has diminished considerably. This is not a knock on anyone in specific just a general trend I have noticed. We might need to put more emphasis on testing individual changes for Wednesday night test sessions (at least the first hour or two).

Either way thanks for bringing it up!

The actual amount of stamina over the 30 second period is roughly double what you previously received with the regeneration buff while IN COMBAT. Out of combat the amount is similar to previous or slightly less. Moving this to +STA directly was important because increasing stamina regeneration to the point of usefulness in combat made the out of combat regeneration too fast.

A caveat to this, as previously the ability was an aura and cost 0 stamina the Warlord always got full benefits of the additional stamina, now as a chant it costs 5 stamina and while is still net positive is more useful to the party than directly to the warlord themselves.
