I understand that Embers Adrift is a group-centred game, but I would still like to see abilities that are not completely useless in solo play, e.g. the ability "Screen", which - as far as I know - can only be cast on others.
You could modify this ability (and all abilities that work in a similar manner) so that it has a limited (maybe half?) effect when it's cast on yourself, and only unfolds its full potential when it's cast on others.
