1. New Strike skill, is a Winner! Thanks guys, great addition

2. This time through SNH, leveling, I have paid more attention to how many animals are 2+chevrons. There are a LOT. Do you really want the percentage of them to be this high? Point to consider, never have I seen a Multi-Chevron Animal hunting group form, to fight them. Without a group, no one can kill them. So why do we need so many? <shrug> They just take up valuable space, imo

3. The Bear Cave area. Way Way Way too many bears, at the Bear caves. In general, bears are solitary animals, except for a mother with cubs. Would 50 bears clump together and just hang out at a cave? Maybe if it was a river, with a Salmon run happening, but just milling about a cave? Just a thought. Also, I've never seen a group there, fighting them (and that's what it would take), nor heard someone trying to form a group for them. Unless you make them (in that area) have some Must Have drops, again, it's just creating a wasted space area. imo

4. Overall, leveling (this time) through SNH has been a much better experience. Keep up the good work :)

P.S. I still HATE the map and always will =P But, alas <sigh> I digress

Awesome to hear, thanks for the feedback. Will have to hear from people later on when they decide to stop using it.

Their presence here serves a few purposes:
1. Introduce players to the mechanic in a safe area (all these are docile) where recovery will be easy.
2. Provide fodder for duo/trio players for better rewards than solo (many duo do exist but rarely LFG/LFM)
3. Provide a risk/reward potential for players and alts. While on your first pass through a 2-chevron battle may rarely result in a victory, an alt with gear/potions/food/etc. could reasonable take these on for substantial solo rewards, at greater risk to themselves and greater downtime.

I wouldn't say NO ONE can kill them, I can attest that supporters at least can manage killing 2-chevs at lvl 2/3 since First Aid gives them substantial survivability. As for the density of them I can check and make sure we don't get overwhelmed with them.

3. The Bear Cave area. Way Way Way too many bears, at the Bear caves. In general, bears are solitary animals, except for a mother with cubs. Would 50 bears clump together and just hang out at a cave? While realism helps support immersion often gameplay comes first. I have seen groups go there in the past, but most of the established playerbase immediately seeks out the best stuff (to their knowledge) and that means some areas like this get neglected. It's tricky to not just create an arms-race against our own content. Add good drops to the bears and all of sudden everyone is doing bears and no one is doing anything else. Bears generally have substantially more value now than they have in previous iterations, and there is a rare bear over that way so I don't think its wasted space.

Ooh I can promise you @Rlm962 that there is plenty of groups forming to level up together. I'm organising many through the weekend myself and I see many being organised and set up by other players too.
Lots of streamers are grouping on directly on Twitch. Some group group up directly via Discord (in the voice chat), and I've seen many group or many players LFG using the global chat and the LFG tool.
You may have been either unlucky, or it slipped your attention.

For group play, the 2chev mobs are really a neccesity, otherwise combat is too easy and do not bring enough XP, even for a 2 players group. @AdricLives from a groupmplayer perspective, 2 chev mobs population is really not dense. As for solo players, it's pretty easy to avoid them (they are not attacking) and to focus on the solo ones which are aplenty! ;)

Maybe try to set up a group yourself to see how the experience feel when you playing together with 1 or more friends.

I agree with the OP. I leveled each of the roles up to lvl6, and the new Strike skill made it a lot smoother, especially for Support and Defender. I am just getting starting on crafting, but had a good laugh at the animation when learning a new crafting recipe. Nice work all around!

yeah, I can't decide if it makes you appear that you are having a Seizure? Or, if you are being attacked by a swarm of Bees?
