Mob Density

I've spent a lot of time watching the streams from the Open Beta. I have to say one of the top 5 complaints from them all, is the Mob Density. As I've stated several times, there are way to many places, where the Mob Density is little to none. This is going to have to be fixed. Players are not liking it the way it is. A player should not have to hunt around for 5-10 minutes just to find something to kill. Yes, there are certain places to camp mobs, but you shouldn't have to do that. All those humungous open fields needs to have more deer, rabbits, bear, etc.

Thanks for listening...

I think this is solid feedback, but I've been on the other end.

There are places where the mob density is just plain too much, like in NW Newhaven, near the bear cave. If you stand still for a few seconds, you'll find yourself face-to-face with a group of bears, then another add...then another add. At about 8 bears in, having not moved an inch, you'll start to wonder when it will end (especially at night)...and why can the bears basically spam their stun ability in an unavoidable chain?

So, while I agree that some places are nearly barren, the places that AREN'T are either too dense, have mobs with too much mobility, have mobs that choose to move around too often, have the ability to call too many friends, or have mobs that have too great of an aggro distance (even if they respect LoS).

That said, I've noticed some incredible fine-tuning over the past few updates and everything has been continually getting better - and, believe it or not, a lot of it is in response to what we share here. This type of feedback is very helpful.

LOL! I definitely agree about the Bear Cave as well. Too much!
