I like how the game doesn't look overly flashy

Been a big peeve of mine but most MMOs are just a lot of flash. Big armor, big sword with spikes and designs are just too exaggerated and flamboyant. The stuff in this game looks a bit more settling for me.

Yes, this is excactly the artistic direction we are taking with this game. Low Fantasy with a hint of Dark Fantasy rather than more traditional High Fantasy.
World is a bit tuned down, more realistic, so the "unatural" seems more out of place and give that feel of mystery.

This goes aswell with our armors and character creation.
