I've heard several content creators saying there's a free trial going on for this game right now until Nov 5th; yet I don't see a link to download the client anywhere or even any mention of the trial on the front page? So confused on how to participate.

Head to your account page and download the launcher. It will say "inactive" but you can log in with your forum username & password.
