I invested into the game because I believe in the vision, and understand this is still in test. I am new here to maybe this has been addressed and is being worked, but wanted to give my initial impression.
When I first play an MMO the first impression for me is how my toons "feels" as an extension to me. When I first played this game over the weekend it felt really bad, like my toon was moving through glue. It reminds me of when I roll a new character in ESO and mount up for the first time with zero speed upgrades.
No matter how the gameplay or features are, the feel of movement of my character is very important to me, and not too slow like getting anywhere will be a chore. I like it to feel responsive and fluid. Is this going to be a focus of improvement during development? Is it even on the radar?
