Entitlement to loot

I think the wolf cave needs to be removed from the game as well as all the loot. If people cant share and help find solutions to the game and blame others. No one should have it
i.e. People where picking on me, so now I'm taking my toys and going home.

:) I'm not in beta either. Thinking about it...

I do find that one thing that discourages grouping is loot drama. I'm more likely to group with unknowns if loot is distributed randomly and people can then redistribute it if they see fit...

I totally recommend getting the game way worth the time and money. This thread was supposed to in some weird way get people into talking about how to fix the problem at the wolf cave. Either way there is alot of great friendly players that would help you and group with you in the game.

Is sharing loot mandatory? I rather doubt it. As such, I don't see this happenin
so the thing about the wolf den is it is very small. there where 2 groups in said area. and toes where step on both sides. sharing loot only happens in a group setting the game mechanics have a need, greed, pass system. the main problem is that its a small area and i think it needs to be larger or a way in and out so groups could share the area. the main thing about the game right now is we are testing the game and trying to make the game better for everyone and we should not be fighting over things in the game.

I know how loot works. My question was if sharing it is mandatory.

The wolf den could be expanded to better accommodate two groups. That will work perfectly fine until a third group shows up. Then it's back to square one. What then? Should the den be ever expanded to satisfy increasing demand? It's a band-aid solution that too easily comes off.

We're not only testing the game, but the community as well. In a non-instanced world intended for social gaming everyone doesn't get their own pie to consume undisturbed. We have to learn to share the pie with others. The wolf den as it is provides an opportunity for players to be reminded of that key lesson.

If people are unwilling to share then this world will be a very difficult place. As such, the solution or lack thereof is largely up to ourselves when things are best solved through cooperation. The only other option it to provide such abundance that nothing need be shared but as a result the value of everything is undermined.

so if you took the cave and made it follow threw to a back entrance. like all the way over to the spider cave which i don't think is that far form the cave it self. so in doing so it would help to encourage to follow threw the cave.

so when the cave a half circle cave is some sort of way you and the length of the cave and time to run back to the entrance would have help to encourage you to run threw the cave.

i think they have a great idea and processes to encourage people to run threw the cave because the more you move the more likely hood you would run into a name.

you will never get everyone to stop camping or a select few from not sharing areas. so if you made it a 1 way threw like a ledge to drop down in and drop down out you in some sorta way make it a 1 way tunnel.

as far as sharing loot me and a few others have notice that 1 person will keep wining. so in are group will set limits on how many time you win special loot. after everyone has had 2 wins on special loot it goes down to 1 tell everyone gets there 1 item win. and for the ones that are not in group or not able to roll dew to death we use /roll and the 1 with the highest roll wins even if you have to give up the items.

so it best to make sure everyone fells like they are getting there far share of reward for an area so i think in a sense its best to share loot even if 2 parties are in 1 area. i really like the /roll feature they added into the game.

hope i stayed on track with this discussion sometime i get side tracked

It doesn't matter how it will be changed because at some point in time it will always be an issue. The key is people are going to have issues, you can't fix it. Does the cave need to be bigger? No. Because no matter how big you make it, it will still have issues.
Drama happened, it will happen again.

i dont see it that way it could use a little more length. yes drama happens. especially when we just leave things the way they are when we know there is a problem. instead of being so negative try fixing the problem ive not once saw a post where you come up with an idea in which the game could be made better.

Hi everyone. I'm locking this thread as we have gotten what we need out of it. Appreciate everyone's thoughts!
