Ember gathering just to fast travel and such

How about a logout mechanism where logging off for 8 hours for a subscriber fills max ember and a non-subscriber gains 50.
And add an option of standing next to an ember spire for 10 minutes gives 6 ember, so someone could goto lunch and come back with enough to get back to Haven, without going to the right zone where creatures give ember to players whom are higher level. (cough... Peaks.. only place to get ember).

neat idea, but would like a cap on 6. I don't think having folks afk for weeks should get the same as those playing the game.

Just an FYI you can get ember easier now as gray ashen mobs now give ember. A gray 3c for example gives 4ee. A quick run through Northreach can net you a couple of the glowbugs pinned along a wall (which can give 10-20 ember) or a trip in firefly ev to kill some 3c ashen. Just saying you dont have to venture all the way to GP now.
