- Fixed a bug that prevented players from gaining xp or Ember Essence after leaving a group that was part of a raid.
Ley Links
In our ongoing efforts to get players into their groups faster we are introducing Ley Links, our implementation of group summons. Ember Rings within dungeons can now be teleported to from a Monolith if certain conditions are met:
- You have an Ember Stone
- You have the required amount of Ember Essence (travel or regular). Current cost is 30 EE, which is brought down to 21 EE when the city's Monolith is activated.
- You are near an active Monolith
- Target Ember Ring has been discovered.
- You meet the Ley Link level requirements for the target Ember Ring. These requirements are roughly 5 levels below the content level to account for GEL.
- At least 3 group members are near the target Ember Ring who also meet the Ley Link level requirements.
Your group window also now has additional features:
To the left of player nameplates in a different zone an Ember Ring icon will appear when they are near a Ley Link compatible Ember Ring. The tooltip for this icon will show the name, required level, and its discovered status. When any group member in a different zone is near a Ley Link the "Ley Link" button will appear in the top left of the group window. Until all of the above listed conditions are met it will remain grayed out and a tooltip on the button will indicate why. Once all conditions are met you can click the "Ley Link" button to be teleported to your group's Ember Ring.
A few rings were missing proper discoverables and will have to be rediscovered before you can use them as Ley Links:
- Osric's Rest (still broken, will be fixed in the next QA patch)
- Arkhos' Lair
- Shrieking Barrows
- Blightroot Grove
- Undercroft: all rings without a hallow. This includes molebears, etc.
While testing the above new feature please pay attention to the health changes mentioned in the previous QA patch and throw us some feedback!
