Feedback Bow Ranges

So I was told that tanks are likely not meant to be the pullers which I understand.

So even using a long bow as a Striker, I feel like I'm body pulling mostly as the range of the longbow seems to be not long enough. Which also means that shortbow/xbow/knives are really short that you are for sure aggroing by being close vs just shooting something.

The pullers are usually strikers. They can move in and out quickly. The range is meant to sty at range to avoid getting agro and such. Atleast thats how the groups I been in have treated pulling.

A) I agree Strikers are seemly meant to be the pullers.
B) The range window to stay without getting aggro seems to be extremely small and in some cases not long enough even with a bow.
C) I'm not sure what if anything allow Strikers to move in and out quickly. So the only thing they got going for them is the longbow range.

I know you can't pull with a xbow anymore. Soon as you get in range and pull it out, the mob will turn and run at you. I still feel like there is some kind of trigger that aggros the mob as soon as you are in range and draw your weapon that wasn't there a few weeks ago.

Not that I'm advocating for lower range on ranged weapons to pull, however, if you come from behind they will not aggro you and you can get the first shot off with an xbow. Also notice there are 2 types of xbows, this works even with the short range one.

Kunai range feels fine to me, haven't had issues pulling with them as a tank.
Well technically if this is the case, then they are not working as intended.
However, I feel like this is just someone "white knighting" the game.

Kunai is the only ranged missle/weapon/item that hadn't been brought up yet. I mentioned elsewhere that if kunai feel good but the others don't, then there might be something about kunai making them too good that may necessitate a tweak.

The only issue I can ever recall with them was after the human aggro got a bump kunai were very weak because the human aggro range was bigger than the kunai range, so Undone bumped up the kunai to be just outside human aggro radius. I'm not sure what the kunai range is in relation to the bows, I can only say that they have been effective pulling tools on my end.

Kunai = 16m
Shortbows = 15m
Longbows = 20m
Crossbows = 12m
Heavy Crossbows = 16m

Last week I was going to extend the range for shortbows to 20m and longbows to 25m but in game it felt like wayyyyyyy too much range. Next test I'll likely bump them to say 18m and 24m or something along those lines. One of the other reasons we had bows so constricted was so we could have higher level bows have longer ranges. But it's probably best to just keep them all consistent and just mess with damage levels and flanking bonuses. Maybe we can have an ultra-rare bow with additional range or something along those lines.

yea I mean the shortbow should be AT LEAST on equal footing with a kunai haha

A longer range gives me the option to pull using the bow instead of body pulling while I'm trying to get into range. And it allows me to switch to melee weapons and be ready to attack when they reach me, instead of waiting for the weapon switch cooldown to finish.

But bow allows you to stand at range and your aggro is weighted LESS! And you look super cool
