Lack of minimap and GPS is what sold me on this game (immediately), and their presence would be a pretty hard dealbreaker for me. It's bad enough we have the compass now, even if it is optional. I like navigating by knowledge and landmarks.

I would make a snarky comment about people not even knowing what zone they were in, but when I stumbled into Redshore Ridge at level 16, I had no clue it had happened. Of course, the map told me I was in Redshore....

I had that happen once, and restored to an earlier Time Machine backup of the game. It had to update again, but then was able to launch. If you don't have a backup, you might have to download the game anew.

I just lucked into several pieces of this armor in Karst. But, I have a set that's giving me 294 AC right now, and the Reconstituted TIn is significantly less AC. Does the +1 Resilience per piece make up for that pretty well?

They have really low AC and I don't see many 1H weapons that offer parry & riposte. Do you use bucklers? If so, why?
