I have Parallels on this MacBook. I am able to install the windows version on this MacBook just fine, which means the connection to the update server and the host is NOT the issue. There is something wrong with the Mac client.
I have M3 - Running Sequoia 15.0.1 (24A348)
1st problem was the developer wasn't trusted. Gave proper permissions, launcher opened. Problem solved.
2nd problem is, launcher has been "checking local files" for an hour. Clearly this is not working. (screenshot attached)
