I have long suspected that the game uses 6 HIT = 1 DMG for balancing purposes. When your data is converted into DMG multipliers, it seems like this holds true.
Observed DMG Multiplier = (MISS*0 + GLANCE*0.5 + HIT*1 + HEAVY*1.25 + CRIT*1.5)/(MISS + GLANCE + HIT + HEAVY + CRIT)

I just don't understand people. Time has value. For me personally, I've spent over $18,000 in opportunity cost by playing this game in the past year. The $10/mo. is wildly insignificant and shouldn't be the reason anyone plays or doesn't play a game.
Like, if you can't afford $10 a month, then...

It doesn't, though. Different players seeing different things is one of the main things I hate about modern games. I literally found this game by searching for an "mmo without instances" precisely because I want to have a persistent world with a shared experience.
Not at all. You have to think ahead. For instance, if you have an already pretty tough pull, and then all of a sudden there are extra adds that you didn't plan to have, you use ember abilities NOW to do more damage and kill them faster, to mitigate more damage, or to save stamina for heals...
I been playing since July 1 on Linux Mint Xfce with Lutris using wine-ge-8-26-x86_64, and it's been fine. I never even bothered to try a different Wine version.
