While this idea is sound, the question becomes how many people would we lose due to lack of updates in the interim? And with our low population can we stay afloat as a company during this development time if people are leaving?

The same reason we disallow trading to trial players (we want them to purchase the game). Now it is possible that we re-evaluate this on our next pass of the trial system, but as of right now that is the current state of things.

You can just send another message with the other attachments. This is merely a convenience feature.
